Ice Cream Market in Romania to Proliferate: Ken Research

The factors like premium offering, expanded distribution and advertising created a significant awareness and visibility for its umbrella brand Algida, which further propelled the company to be at the top position.

On-trade ice creams’ sales in Romania have been able to continually top the overall distribution of Ice cream in the country where Betty Ice, Nestle S.A. TOP GEL PROD SRL have been the major players in the country’s market.

Flexible Packaging has persisted to be the majorly used packaging material in the Ice Cream market from the very beginning of the market. It is this packing only usually which assures the consumers of the quality of the product they are buying. The Romanian Ice Cream market is projected to record higher levels of growth in Off-trade sales than On-trade sales till the year 2020. As per the report, The Ice Cream market is forecasted to evolve and expand at a CAGR of 7.6% in volume terms in the future years.

The 'Impulse Ice Cream-Single Serve' is further expected to submit the fastest growth in both On-trade and Off-trade consumption in the years to proceed. On a whole, the market is viewed as registering huge profits year after year. The ever rising positions of the premium brands due to economic growth and recovery in incomes is ultimately projected to lead value growth.
